Definition

Something can improve product profile and aroma, it is able to musk off odour/taste aroma, and it can give better product sensation in overall.

Flavour Categorized

1. Physical Form of Flavour :

- Liquid : - Clear Liquid

- Opaque Liquid

- Paste : - Clear Viscose

- Opaque Paste

- Powder : - Fine Powder

- Granular

2. Solubility :

- Water soluble : These flavours are able to dissolve in water.

- Oil soluble : These flavours are able to dissolve in oils.

3. Market Function :

A. Sweet Flavours  

Sweet Flavours are divided into some products application :

a. Beverages, which divided into :

- Alcoholic beverages : Whisky, Brandy, etc.

- Non-alcoholic beverages : Carbonated and non carbonated drinks, syrup, energy drink, juice drink, etc.

b. Dairy : Fresh mik, acidified milk, yogurt, cheese processing, etc.

c. Confectionery : Hard boilded candy, Soft candy, Jelly candy.

d. Ice Cream : Lolly, soft ice cream, etc.

e. Powder Drink : granulated powder drink, fine powder drink, compressed tablet and effervescent.

f. Coffee Products : include coffee powder and ready to drink.

g. Tea Products include powder drink and ready to drink.

h. Chocolate Products

i. Bakery : Bread, biscuits, cookiest.

j. Margarine : Edible oils and margarine.

The flavour is usage in this application as a top note, it is a first impression while we smell this aroma. And as a Casing agent that is as like as humidifier for tobacco cutting leaf befor added a top note flavours. And the flavour is used as improver or musking an off odor which coming from tobacco leaf it self or impact from thr processing.
