Here is a simple formulation for making a ready to drink (RTD) with Orange Flavour. The flavour is able to substitute with another fruits-citrus flavours or combined in more than one type of orange flavour it self. The added of citric acid in this formulation for giving the impact of sour fruits taste sensation.
Sugar syrup is used for giving natural sweet impact. Sodium Citrate for giving astringent to the taste. Sodium benzoate as a preservative agent.
Combination both sweetener Aspartame and Acesulfame K will reduce their bitterness effect and rise up sweet impact in formulation.
But if it is using a fruit with no sour taste as like Melon or Lychee Flavour the citric acid can be reduce or eliminated and substitute with sugar syrup solution.
In processing should be carefully because if that is not septic the product will be contaminated with mold or another foreign body as like as dust or falling hair. It will reduce product self live.
In some case, we are facing with colour fading after lets a few days in direct sun shine. It's caused by reaction of colour with UV light from sun shine. To solve this problem we can use a natural colouring agent. As like as Beta-Carroten or another suggested natural colour by their supplier.
Sometimes we need an added cloudiness impact so a coludifer should be added around 0.05% or as needed to how cloudy of our product. This cloudifier agent has two types in powder and liquid forms. Each form has positive and negative values while used.

Processing :
- Sodium Benzoate is diluted in warm water
- Sodium Citrate and Malic Acid are blended and added to No.1
- Mixing well
- Aspartame, Acesulfame K, and Sugar Syrup are added to No.1, and mixing with high speed
- Heated until 40 oC with using steam bath
- Added colouring agent as needed
- Added Orange Flavour and stirring
- Added Demineralized Water and stirring
- Pasteurized at 85 oC for 10 minutes
- Filling out
- Cooling down as soon as possible.
